The Big Apple Music Awards Foundation is a unique, multinational membership-based association composed of music industry professionals, musicians, producers, engineers and other creative and technical recording professionals who are dedicated to improving the quality of life and the cultural condition for Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern music and its makers both inside and outside the United States. Big Apple Music Awards Foundation representing a vibrant and passionate creative community. A main purpose of the Big Apple Music Awards Foundation is to recognize excellence and create a greater public awareness of the cultural diversity of Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern recording artists and creators, both domestically and internationally. The Foundation accomplishes this mission through programs and activities that engage the music industry and cultural community as well as the general public. For over ten years, the Big Apple Music Awards Foundation, has celebrated the music and artists that have touched the hearts and souls of people all over the world.The Big Apple Music Awards Foundation (BAMA) is the world’s largest group dedicated to promoting the best Central Asian, Caucasian and Middle Eastern music and musicians. BAMA was established as a non-profit 501(3)(c).BAMA members are musicians, music producers and other music industry professionals from around the world. They are all, in the words of the New York Times, “devoted to bringing indigenous music to the world’s consciousness.”
The Big Apple Music Awards is an annual event in New York City that celebrates international music from Central Asia, Caucasus and Middle East.The Awards, the largest event of its kind, has sold out years, thanks to live performances by multi-platinum selling artists from across the globe. This year’s sixteen awardees are all multi-platinum selling artists and household names in their native countries, with fan bases all over the world. Created in 2004, the event celebrates in 2014 its tenth anniversary, which will definitely be even more impressive than the former ones. The awards show is broadcast to North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Central Asia, India, reaching an estimated worldwide audience of one billion viewers in over 75 countries.
